Fumakilla has taken concrete steps to reduce our environmental impact by utilising efficient manufacturing processes, recycling and treating waste materials in accordance with domestic and international health and safety legislation.
Our environmental mission
To ensure long-term organisational growth tempered with efficient resource management leading to reduced environmental impact.
Fumakilla has adopted various environmental codes to help us to achieve our mission, including:
- Pollution Prevention Code
- Fumakilla shall achieve continual reductions in the amount of contaminants and pollutants released from our plants through reviewing, setting and achieving environmental targets on an annual basis.
- Legal Compliance Code
- Fumakilla will take appropriate measures to comply with relevant environmental, safety and health legislation and requirements, and work with the relevant regulatory bodies to improve the quality of the environment.
- Improvement Code
- Fumakilla will continually identify areas where the Environmental Management System can be improved for the betterment of safety and health of the employees, the community and the environment.
- Communication Code
- Fumakilla believes in transparency and regularly communicates and promotes awareness on the Environmental Policy being practiced to employees, suppliers, customers and the community.
- Training and Education Code
- The Company shall educate, train and motivate members of its staff to ensure that their activities are in line with the environmental management policies implemented.
